Refund Policy

This policy applies to paid licenses for the Sumaq editor purchased through this website.

Reseller and Merchant of Record

Payments for paid Sumaq licenses are processed by Paddle.com Market Ltd, which acts as the reseller and Merchant of Record for our orders. Your purchase is therefore also subject to Paddle's Buyer Terms, in addition to this policy.

14-day money-back guarantee

We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee on every paid Sumaq license, as long as you have not yet downloaded Sumaq. If Sumaq is not the right fit, request a refund before downloading, within 14 days of your purchase, and we will refund the full amount. You do not need to give a reason.

Right of withdrawal for digital content

As a consumer, you generally have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal, including when you buy software. For digital content (downloads and license keys) this right expires early once you expressly agree that the download or execution of the software begins before the withdrawal period ends, and you confirm at the same time that this causes your right of withdrawal to lapse.

As soon as you start the download or receive and redeem your license key, the right of withdrawal generally lapses, provided we informed you of this correctly beforehand. A refund is therefore only possible as long as you have not yet downloaded Sumaq.

If withdrawal is nevertheless possible in certain circumstances (for example, if the withdrawal instructions were missing), you owe no compensation for the value of software you have already used.

Digital product

Sumaq is a digital product: the source code and your license are delivered immediately after purchase. This refund policy does not affect any statutory rights you may have as a consumer under applicable law.

How to request a refund

Email us at sumaq@aufwind-group.de with the email address you used at checkout and your Paddle order or receipt number. You can also contact the Merchant of Record directly through Paddle.

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method. Depending on your bank or card provider, the amount usually appears within 5–10 business days.

Free licenses

Free licenses involve no payment and are therefore not subject to refunds.
